Home Office Carpets – Supply & Fit in West Sussex
With more of us working from home, a dedicated workspace is essential. Home office flooring needs to be practical while still feeling part of your home. We supply and fit durable office carpets and carpet tiles across West Sussex, specifically designed to withstand castor chairs and heavy use while maintaining a smart, comfortable appearance.
Best Carpet Types for Home Offices
If you use an office chair with castors, standard domestic carpet can delaminate and ruck up. We recommend short, tight loop piles or specialist contract-rated carpets. Carpet tiles are a fantastic option for home offices—they are incredibly tough, and if you spill coffee or damage a section, you can simply replace the individual tile. For a warmer feel, low-profile commercial twists offer durability with a domestic look.
Popular Colours for Home Offices
Neutral and darker tones work best to resist ink drops and coffee spills. Charcoal, slate grey, and navy blue are professional and practical. Speckled or heathered designs are excellent at hiding debris. If you want to boost creativity, you might opt for a brighter highlight colour or a patterned carpet tile layout.
Supply & Fit or Fitting-Only
Our supply and fit service is ideal for home offices; we can recommend carpets specifically rated for castor chair use. We bring commercial and domestic samples to you. With our fitting-only service, we can install carpet you've bought, but please check it is suitable for office chairs first! We ensure the carpet is fully adhered or properly grippered to prevent movement under wheels.
Home offices and small rooms
Single box rooms and garden offices get the same care as a full house. We advise on grade and subfloor prep if you are converting a garage or shed — not every floor is ready for carpet straight away.
